HYSA Compare is an independent review and comparison website. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may receive a commission if you click the link and open an account with the bank, at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate relationships are clearly marked with rel="sponsored" on outbound links. The presence or absence of an affiliate relationship has no effect on:
- Whether a bank appears on this site
- Editor ratings or rankings
- The order of search results or comparison tables
- The wording of editorial reviews
Banks that do not currently have an affiliate program are listed alongside those that do, with no visual differentiation.
FTC Rule on Consumer Reviews compliance
HYSA Compare complies with the Federal Trade Commission's Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 465), which became effective October 21, 2024. Specifically:
- We do not write, buy, or generate fake reviews under any circumstances.
- We require all reviewers to disclose any incentive, gift, or compensation received.
- We verify every published user review via email confirmation.
- We do not suppress, remove, or edit negative reviews based on bank requests.
- We do not engage in "review hijacking" — repurposing reviews from one product to another.
- We do not use AI-generated text passed off as human reviews.
Editorial Verdicts on this site are written by the HYSA Compare Editorial Team and are clearly labeled as such. They are not customer reviews and are not subject to FTC review rules, but they are still required by our internal policy to be independent of affiliate considerations.
